Frequently Asked Questions and Policies

Boater Education Card

Washington State law requires all operators/drivers to have a boater’s education card, if you do not currently have one, we will provide you with a temporary form that is good for your time of rental. There is no additional charge for the form. If you would like to get a permanent Boater Education Card you can find more info on the process here.

Credit Card/Damage Deposit

We do not take a damage deposit before the rental, however, we do require you to have a Visa or MasterCard credit card (not debit) on file prior to the beginning of the rental. The credit card, photo ID and individual must be present at time of rental.

Participants

All participants must be present at time of rental to sign a release of liability before using any equipment, they must also be present for the safety/operation orientation at the beginning of the rental.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel your reservation 7 or more days in advance – no charge

  • If you cancel 6 days or less in advance of your rental you will be charged 50% of the rental price

  • Bad weather (wind, rain, smoke etc) is excluded from this policy and there is no penalty to cancel up until the time of rental for these reasons, however, if it is already “bad weather” and you decide to go out on your rental there are no refunds for returning early.
